A finished thing!
I was really starting to worry about getting this hat & pattern done.
This is the Phoenix Hat. The pattern is going out in the Spring Survival Gear boxes. After that the pattern will be available on Ravelry.
I love how this hat came out. It has a super simple lace design that looks a bit like rippling flames.
The photos show this hat worked up in my new colorway Phoenix. It’s fire, ash, and bright new beginnings.
My display head is a little small so the hat doesn’t fit quite right on it.
The hat is sized for 20/21 inch brain pans. It fits comfortably and has a nice slouch to it.
This pattern will be available for purchase later this month.
I’ve started on the next knitted hat pattern, which is a beanie with some cable work.
Just a tiny bit of cabling.
You don’t even need a cable needle if you don’t want to use one.
What else is in the works?
The sample hat for the Hello Sweetie pattern needs reknit & photographed. I’ve had some requests for a crochet version of the Feral Goblin Cat hat pattern. As soon as I get the Spring Survival Gear boxes shipped out, I’ll be working on that.
I’m thinking about working out matching cowl patterns for these hats also. We’ll see how things go.
